Wireline Services
Essential offers wireline services that use a small diameter cable or line, mounted on a reel that is housed in a wireline unit. Wireline units are equipped with various types of surface equipment that enable various tools to be run into the well. Essential’s wireline services are offered in two categories: electric wireline (“e-line”) and slickline.
E-line provides a wide variety of services for cased hole logging, perforating, abandonment and pipe recovery services using electrical line on sweet and sour service applications. E-line is capable of working with high pressures and it provides services with a portable derrick unit or from a service rig. Real-time downhole recorders are conveyed to the surface by e-line.
Slickline is a cable used to retrieve valves, plugs and gauges. Essential’s slickline business specializes in providing services to the challenging regions in northern Alberta, providing quad access in the rugged corridor from Lac La Biche to Fort McMurray, AB.
The e-line units operate throughout western Canada under Endeavor E-Line Services.
Endeavor and Remote Wireline are current on their COR certifications and are in good standing with ISN and HSE registries.
