Essential Well Service (“EWS”) was re-branded in September 2009 with the combination of Puma Well Service, Cardinal Well Services and Millard Oilfield Services. These three entities have been in service between 10 and 40 years.

EWS has a full line of well service equipment to handle a variety of oilfield service operations. The rigs are all free standing, well maintained and regularly certified. The fleet can work in depths ranging from 500 meters to 3,500 meters. EWS maintains
six boilers and a range of additional equipment (power swivels, Class 3 blowout preventers with accumulators,
pipe racks, matting etc.)

EWS maintains their COR certifications and is a member of the CAODC.

EWS is based out of Medicine Hat, AB, with field offices and a certified mechanical repair shop in Brooks, AB. Its rigs operate throughout central and southern Alberta, southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
