Technicoil Well Services

Technicoil Well Services ("Technicoil") is focused on providing coiled tubing conveyed completion and workover services as well as fluid pumping services. They were formed in 1997 as part of Technicoil Corporation and have been in operation since 1999. Technicoil was acquired by Essential Energy Services on May 31, 2011 at which time they became Technicoil Well Services.

Technicoil has a fleet of 16 masted coil tubing rigs. These rigs have a depth capability ranging from 1,000 meters to 6,000 meters, with a coil diameter ranging from 2" to 3 1/2". Their geographical position includes Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Through partnerships with other leading well services stimulation companies, Technicoil has been involved in the development of the coiled tubing conveyed completion process, and today operates the largest fleet of masted coiled tubing well service rigs in Canada.

Technicoil is a leader in the new generation of advanced coiled tubing technology. Their unique masted coil well service rigs get the job done quickly, economically, efficiently, and require minimal staff to operate.

A fleet of fluid pumpers support the coil tubing fleet and are mainly used for circulation through the coil tubing. Each unit is equipped with a 600 horsepower pumping unit complete with mixing tanks and a maximum working pressure of 15,000 psi. Technicoil anticipates a fleet of 15 fluid pumpers (8 singles and 7 twin units) to be in operation by the end of 2011.

Technicoil's coiled tubing drilling rigs have become a leader in the industry. Technicoil's customers appreciate the innovated design features of the drilling rigs that have the capacity to run coil tubing or joined pipe utilizing automated pipe racks and an integrated top drive.
